I have got dry skin and have been using Vichy skincare for years. This serum is absolutely MAGNIFICENT. Very happy with it, specially in these Summer months as I’ve got dry skin.
After a trip to France last summer, I noticed Vichy was in every pharmacy that I visited. Did use samples of Vichy whilst away and I was very impressed by the brand’s Mineral 89 serum, but also kept seeing and hearing about Aqualia Thermal. So after my third purchase of Mineral 89, I decided to give Aqualia Thermal a go and I am so so glad I did.
Intensely hydrating and rich in minerals, Aqualia Thermal was a superb add to my skincare regimen, so much so, that I ended up trading Mineral 89 for it during the winter months, when my central heating dehydrated skin needed it more. Pores are much tighter and cleaner since the switch to Vichy products in general, but the use of Aqualia Thermal has really improved the texture of my skin - to soft and glowing. Also makes my moisturiser (sadly not a Vichy one currently - have however purchased the new Phyto normaderm range for when my current caudalie vinopure mattifying moisturiser has finished) pop and really put itself to work.
I would highly recommend Aqualia Thermal to anyone - but would recommend even more so to anyone who is beginning to show signs of ageing, as the ingredients within really work to hide signs of ageing and to re-infuse dehydrated skin. Looking to purchase a bottle for my 80 year old grandmother who is conscious of her skin (and who looks amazingly younger than her 80 years) as I was so impressed with the results.
I’d say Mineral 89 is also perfect - but is more suited for younger skins.
Nice serum, a little runny but a little does go a long way, absorbed quickly. Haven’t seen any visible difference yet using the serum - it’s only been a month though! I’m an advocate of Vichy products especially their balm moisturiser which I always use in the winter and the lighter moisturiser in the summer. Would recommend for a younger person but at over 50 I think I need a more intense serum.

It makes my skin so soft and hydrated, also makes it easier for the cream I apply afterwards to be absorb.
