I have chronically chapped lips which is never happy with any amount of water I drink throughout the day, nor any lip balm to satisfy its needs. A friend had told me about this product as she has the same condition and had fallen in love with this lip balm.

Upon purchasing it, all I can say is WOW!! This lip balm has a thick butter-like consistency and smells amazing. I was skeptical about the fragrance but was completely swayed by how I only need to use the lip balm once in the morning and another before bed. No more chapped lips!!!

I will certainly be re-purchasing and recommending to friends and family.

I first bought this on a holiday in France 2 years ago and have sworn by it ever since. I use it twice a day (first thing in the morning and just before bed) and I made it through the entire winter (extended cold snaps through Feb/March/April included) without a single chapped/cracked lip.

One pot lasts me several months and I occasionally use a little on any patches of particularly dry skin that I tend to get around my beard as well.

It smells incredible (little bit honeyed, little bit lemony, not hugely strong) and gives a really great matte look to boot.

(In the day I use the Reve de Miel moisturising stick, alongside one from) La Roche Posay 50SPF attached to this review)

How wrong was I?!

I first bought one of these from Escentual over a year ago,..and let’s say first impressions were not favourable! I felt it too rich and creamy and not what I was looking for in a lip balm. Hmm...how wrong was I?!
So disappointedly relegated to the morning and evening regime (just to “use it up”, as I thought) .. diligently applied, this little pot of balm wore me down.
I think what I failed to realise ..albeit the clue is in its name...this is a nourishing balm...and oh boy , does this little pot do just that.
So forget about constantly reapplying for moisture, this really does nourish, soften and repaired my lips over time. As a nominal amount is needed and the nourished feeling lasts...this little pot lasted me at least 8 months! Daily use! Absolutely incredible.
I would highly recommend this and have a few back ups ....well...you know...no such thing as too much of a great thing!

I was looking for something more than just a lip balm. I normally use carmex, but I needed something more to heal my cracked lips. I think due to stress they are in the really bad state at the moment and Nuxe is absolutely amazing product.
It's smooth my lips very quickly, so I will use it until my lips are proper healed. Also, just to let you know I am using it only 3 times a day, it just lasts for a really long time which is another good thing about this lip balm.
I would recommend it to anyone.
