This moisturizer is a great day and night, it gives just the right amount of suppleness and moisture for applying makeup without being too heavy. I love the smell and have already noticed a small difference in the less fragile condition of my skin with just a couple of uses!

I bought this product for THAT time of the month, when my skin always changes from its usual normal/combination to oily. The Effaclar H MCSM does wonders for my face, moisturising but at the same time removing the grease and shine off my face. However, I cannot use this product when my skin is being its usual normal/combination as I feel it dries my skin out a bit, making my face feel slightly (only a little) tight. I would recommend you know your skin type before purchasing.

I use this at night on my cheeks and neck to try and correct the effects, such as redness and increased sensitivity and fragility, that using a harsh anti blemish regime and shaving has done to my skin. It got to the point where my skin was so sensitive that every time I shaved I would get a shaving rash. Personally this is too heavy for me to use in the day but it's great at night and has not caused me to break out once. Although redness hasn't gone down my skin is feeling much more comfortable from using this. I use after the Micellar water which is a great cleanser for sensitive skin.
