I purchased this item as a bit of a last resort after struggling to find a decent moisturiser for my combination yet fairly sensitive skin. Any formula designed for oily skin is normally far too lightweight to actually feel like it's hydrating my skin - yet whenever I tried a thicker moisturiser, my face would become increasingly greasy or I would break out. I thought this moisturiser would be perfect (rich enough to combat the dehydration yet designed for oily skin). I have used this for around 2 weeks now and so far so good. It's no miracle product, however it has a lovely rich comforting feeling when I apply it to my skin (how I like it to be), yet it doesn't make me any oilier than usual and I've not had so many spots (this could be down to other factors too however). It's a nice base for make-up underneath a primer and my skin is feeling soft and is behaving itself for a change. No offensive smells or awkward formulas, the only downside is the lack of SPF (no biggie though as I get this from my foundation). Shame the tube is fairly small as I don't think it will last as long as some face creams. For the price though I will definitely repurchase as long as it continues to benefit my skin.

I was prescribed Roaccutane back in November so was instantly worried about how dry my skin would be. I was recommended this product to keep my skin moisturised. I am so grateful I bought this product as I had no dryness or cracking of my skin which is the main side affect of Roaccutane. I have many friends who were really suffering with these side affects but this soon stopped when I encouraged them to invest in effaclar H moisturiser. I can't recommend this product enough for anyone on any medication or undergoing any treatment which dried their skin out. I would also like to recommend the effaclar H cleansing foam which goes hand in hand with this product. Enjoy!!
I use prescribed topical anti biotic cream for acne so I tried this as it is supposedly designed to be used along side something like that. It hydrates well and has a light texture but takes a couple of minutes to sink in which I personally don't love. Other than that I've had no problems using it. I'll certainly repurchase it but I'll also be on the lookout for something new as I just feel like there is probably something a bit better out there.
I picked this up on a whim and have not regretted it for one second. It is targeted for Oily skin which is suffering from using products which are too drying and this describes my skin to a tee! Because I am so prone to blemishes, i used a lot of products that stripped my skin far too much. Whilst they did clear the blemishes, they left me with combination skin with dry patches. This moisturizer re-hydrates my skin beautifully without making me more oily but I do find it is too heavy to wear under makeup (use the Effaclar Duo + under makeup!) so I use it at night after I have cleansed and toned and in the morning I wake up with beautifully refreshed skin! Would highly recommend!
