Although in my late twenties, it seems acne and breakouts aren't done with me yet. I had given this product a go a few years ago however found it made me break out even more, however with wedding season approaching I decided to give Effeclar Duo another go am so far have been pleased..... a little goes a long way, and the fragrance makes the product feel expensive, which is always nice.
My breakouts leave me with dark red/brown marks under the skin that make it look like I have loads of spots when I have no make up on but after a few weeks of use, I have noticed these fading already which is great news. Also works really well with new spots too but I am using in combination with other products. Give this a go for sure!

I have been using this for a couple of months intermittently. I have a hyper-sensitive very dry skin. I use it when my skin gets irritated from dust or other causes. I don't use it very often as it dries out my already dry skin. But it is very effective in minimizing irritation and in also minimizing scars from spots. The thing I don't like about is that there is a lot of product stuck in the tube but the narrow end of the tube doesn't get it out. So I have to cut it with scissors and use the rest for about a week covering it with a zip seal bag so it doesn't get dry.

Great product if you use it daily to control sebum and prevent cystic breakouts

This product started of feeling great in that it helped tighten up my pores HOWEVER with continued use my skin became taught and very dry on the surface. Not sure if I needed to persevere but I have stopped using it and gone back to Vichy Normaderm I'm afraid.
