Bought this product after reading so many positive reviews about it. After two weeks, I am very satisfied. I have been prescribed acne creams for the past 6 months to no effect, but this has cleared up my frequent acne and I haven't had an outbreak for a week, compared to new outbreaks every day!
Hoping it will continue to work on the horrible scarring left behind. Lovely and light, with no fragrance.

The Effaclar Duo [+] has a thicker consistency to the original, which I think is better. I use this at night on clean skin and morning before primer and makeup. With blemish prone skin and an oily problem, this product really helps me out! My skin hasn't been plagued by spots and overall looks a lot smoother and calmer. I will continue to use Effaclar as an everyday routine and have already got my friend into using it.

I have very sensitive acne prone skin which breaks out frequently. So far, Effaclar duo has done the best job containing those breakouts. I noticed improvements pretty much as soon as I started using it and I've been using it for about 9 months now.
I still do get breakouts though (mostly stress-related) so I can't say that this cream has cured my acne problem entirely, but it does help a lot so I will keep repurchasing it.

I really like the feel of this on my skin and how refreshing it feels, I'm not sure how effective I would say it is against blocked pores though..... I have completely changed my skin care routine round lately and included this, I don't know if it is this product on its own or the combination I have been using but my skin is improved overall. Therefore I would recommend this product as it is a lovely to use!! I tend to only use it before i go to bed, hoping to get the maximum effectiveness out of it!
