I love to use this lotion in place of my normal toner (the La Roche Posay Physiological Toner) a few times a week at night. I find it a little too harsh to use everyday, but I suffer from sensitive skin at times. This product really does help to unclog and close pores, the evidence of which can be seen on a cotton pad (eww!). Despite being an astringent, it doesn't leave the skin feeling tight or dry, but nicely balanced. It is lightly scented but it's nothing harsh or irritating and does not remain once the product has been applied onto the face. The bottle has a very controlled lid, so you don't get a huge gush of product at once, but more like a drip. so nothing is wasted. I would recommend this to people who suffer from oily or combination skin, either to use everyday, or just when you feel like you need it.

This is a nice product, and does micro-exfoliate (to me it feels slightly abrasive), and leave the skin feeling smooth and soft. but, I have very sensitive skin and have found it quite harsh on my skin, so I only use it one or twice a week, and use their soothing toner everyday instead.
Love this toner! Tightens my pores without making my skin feel tight and gives it that extra clean. I use it religiously as part of my skincare regime with the other Effaclar products. My skin has never looked and felt so good! I have oily yet extremely sensitive skin and I am so glad I have found these products!

I am not really happy with that product. I was expecting better quality lotion. To be honest is the same quality as a product from the lower shelf.
