In my head, exfoliation always came from a scrub that sloughed away all the dead skin cells and left you with glowing skin. In actual fact, I found it stung quite a bit and left my skin feeling and looking extremely sensitised. Belisha beacon comes to mind. I bought this lotion on the advice of Caroline Hirons who emphasises the need for a good exfoliation but advises steering clear of the traditional 'scrub.' This lotion feels really gentle on the skin, there's a slight tingle which isn't unpleasant and I find that regular use has given me radiant and smooth skin, that responds to other products much better. The combination of white nettle, tamarind and AHAs mean that all the dead skin that causes dullness is whipped away and your skin is left feeling and looking fresh. One thing, I would say you don't need to saturate a cotton pad when using this. I did it the first time and it left my face feeling quite sticky - a little goes a long way. It's easy to use, no funky smells and it does what it says on the tin. What more could I ask for?

Used daily this really helps brighten my skin and seems to keep spots at bay.

I love this product, so simple to use and so far so good does exactly what it's mean to, however the only downside is the price as at the end of the day it's still just a toner, but escentual is the cheapest I've found it!

I love this product and will continue to repurchase! So effective and gives lovely glowy skin. I use it with another clarins toner and together they work wonderfully. A must have in my skin care routine!
