After just a few weeks of using Clarins Gentle Exfoliator I could notice a significant difference in the condition of my skin. This product is so effective on dull, tired skin. I have combination/dehydrated skin and this fresh formula really brightens the skin and preps the skin for make-up application, allowing the make-up to sit much better on the skin. I also find it doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky or tight like I find with a lot of toners.

I'm 61 with combination skin with recurring patch of dry skin near my mouth. I get the odd spot on my nose and forehead (at 61!) especially in warm weather although the recent sun has helped. I bought this because I love Clarins skincare products and it seemed an easy way to exfoliate occasionally, when I'm too lazy to use my Clarisonic brush. This does work and my skin appeared fresher and cleaner, but I should have avoided using it on the dry patch near my mouth as it made it very slightly worse. This said, I'd recommend it and will use it once or twice a week on my problem areas.

My skin type is very oily and I have a lot of acne scaring on my cheeks and chin over the space of 11 years. I use this toner everyday both morning and night despite the instructions suggesting to use it once a week! I can safely say that it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth - something which it hasn't felt in ages! It is noticably helping with the scaring which is my main concern. I will definatly be purchasing this again before this bottle runs out!
